Fenugreek

It is a plant that reaches a height of about 2-3 feet (60-90 cm). It has green leaves, small white flowers, and pods containing small golden-brown seeds. For thousands of years, fenugreek has been used in alternative and Chinese medicine to treat skin diseases and many other ailments. Recently, it has become a common household spice and thickening agent. It can also be found in products such as soap and shampoo.

People take fenugreek in various forms as an herbal supplement. Its most common form is as a seed or capsule, but it can also be made into tea or ground and mixed with other ingredients to make a poultice applied to the affected skin. Some of the most common benefits of fenugreek include increasing milk production for nursing mothers, regulating blood sugar levels, testosterone, and male libido, and treating inflammation.
